The final school bell of the year will ring before we know it, and children across the country will leave their schools for the summer. But for over 21 million children who depend on free or reduced-priced school lunches, they could be without a source for nutritious meals. You can help parents rest easier, knowing that they will have the food they need to feed their children.

I wrote to you recently about Gerald, a single dad to three beautiful girls: Koi, Briana, and Gianna. Gerald works hard to support his daughters, but is still having trouble making ends meet. His daughters enjoy healthy meals and snacks at a fun, safe after-school and summer program operated by his local food bank, a member of the Feeding America network

Do Something That Makes You Feel Good

"The mission of the Good Neighbor Food Pantry is to serve those who walk through our door by providing food as well as information on how to access other services."

Summary Of GNFP

The Good Neighbor Food Pantry of Woodstock strives to alleviate hunger in our area! Our clients choose from a Variety of foods, a 3 day supply of healthy, fresh food. They are families, seniors, children, individuals, the physically challenged and the mentally handicapped. Our clientele come from Woodstock and neighboring communities.

The pantry has an open to the public policy including all populations without regard to race, gender, ethnicity, age, color, nationality, marital status, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, income, disability, health status, unemployment, underemployment, or homelessness! Our doors are open to all who come.

The GNFP of Woodstock is an all volunteer pantry. Our volunteers come out and work tirelessly to accomplish our mission. We deliver food to the homebound in our community. Our coordinator, Judy Fox, makes it possible for people to get food in emergency situations.

Our host church, The Woodstock Reformed Church, helps us with this task by providing space and a variety of other support tasks. We would not be able to provide as well as we do without their support. For this we are truly grateful.

Please Help Us To Feed the Hungry as the need is mounting and our hallways are full and our lines are getting longer an our need for additional funds and supplies is greater than ever. Every week approximately 500 people are served, and it is getting more difficult to fill the pantry with food.

We encourage you to join us in this ongoing challenge and donate whatever you can to help us with our daunting task to alleviate hunger as we know it.
